The twin chronicles - update 24 weeks, 8-21-07

Today's report. Ultrasound taken Tuesday, August 21st. All is well. No issues or concerns being watched. Both kids are growing at approximately the same rate. Heartrates identical at 150bpm. Some pretty cool views of functioning heart valves and 3D scans that looked better than they have before now that they have some more meat on their bones than before.

For a quick comparison, remember where they were 4 months ago today. They were just specs compared to an estimated 1lb 8oz and 1lb 9oz today. They could feasibly survive if birthed now (though it would obviously be a long haul).

Twin "A" 3D view. Caught in a yawn. Kinda cool. To the left of her head is the head of Twin "B". The ultrasound layer is looking through that head, so don't be concerned - it is a whole head. :)

Twin "B" 3D shot. Pretty good view. Right arm held up.

Heart view (Twin "B" AKA: the topmost baby from the exit). All 4 chambers & valves functioning properly.

View of a pair of feet.
